Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Copacetic Electric ("we," "us," or "our") is an owner-operated electrical contracting business serving San Diego County. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to copaceticelectric.com and to the way we handle information you give us when you contact us about electrical work.

Information we collect

Information you give us directly. When you call or text us, or reach out about a job, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about the electrical work you need, including any photos you choose to send. We collect this only because you sent it to us.

Information collected automatically. Our website is a simple static site. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the time of your visit. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.

We do not sell personal information. We do not collect payment card numbers through this website.

How we use information

  • To respond to your question, quote a job, schedule work, and follow up afterward.
  • To perform the electrical work you hired us to do, including pulling permits where required.
  • To keep records of work performed, as required for licensing, insurance, warranty, and tax purposes.
  • To keep our website and business secure and operating correctly.

Text messages and calls

If you text or call the number listed on this site, we will use your phone number to reply to you about your job. We do not add you to a marketing text list, and we do not share your number with third-party marketers. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can stop hearing from us at any time by telling us so.

Social media content

We publish photos and videos of our own completed work to our social media accounts, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. When work is performed at a private residence, we do not publish identifying details such as your full address, your name, or anything else that identifies you, unless you have given us permission. If you would prefer that no photos of your job be published at all, tell us and we will honor that.

Our social media publishing tools connect only to accounts we own. They do not collect information about you, and they do not read your social media activity.

Who we share information with

We share information only where it is necessary to do the work or run the business:

  • Suppliers and permitting authorities, where a job requires materials to be ordered or a permit to be pulled.
  • Service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, phone service, and accounting software.
  • Where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep information

We keep job records for as long as needed to support the warranty on the work and to meet licensing, insurance, and tax recordkeeping requirements. Casual inquiries that do not turn into a job are kept only as long as they remain useful, then deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to keep a record, such as for a permitted job or for tax purposes. To make a request, call or text (909) 991-2800.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
